  would the passage from new world translation be a miss print....because in the holy bible the word is god......so if god is not capitalized..then what god is the book referring to...because there is only one father and one living god witch is jesus...... .

  What Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe About Jesus?

  Jehovah's Witnesses do not understand the nature of Jesus being the Son of God and God at the same time, in which they come to the conclusion that Christians are stating Jesus is literally the Father, which is not what Christians believe. To them Jesus cannot be God if He is the Son of God, therefore it is necessary to briefly share on the identity of Jesus Christ when He was here on earth. John 1:1-3 & John 1:14-18 make it clear that Jesus and the Father are two distinct persons, and it is very important to share that with the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Within those verses the Father is identified as being God, and was in the beginning before anything was created. Jesus is identified as being in the beginning with the Father before anything was created, and was Himself God. When Jesus came to the earth He took on flesh, and dwelt among us, and revealed the message of salvation, hope, truth, who the Father is, who He is, and the Holy Spirit, thus showing the distinction of persons. (John 1:1-3 & John 1:14-18 & John14:16-17 & John 15:26 & John 16:7-15) According to the Apostle Paul Jesus is by nature God, and He humbled Himself for mankind and took on flesh so that He could give His life to reconcile us from our sins. (Philippians 2:5-11, Colossians 1:13-22 & Colossians 2:1-15) When Jesus claimed to be the Son of God the Jews understood Him to be claiming equality with God and wanted to kill Him. (John 5:17-23) The term 'Son of God' was a Messianic claim as well: "Our rabbis taught, The Holy One, blessed be He, will say to the Messiah, the son of David (May he reveal himself speedily in our days), 'Ask of Me anything, and I will give to Thee,' as it is said (Psalm 2:7,8): 'I will tell of the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, 'Thou art My son; this day I have begotten Thee. Ask of Me and I will give the nations for Thine inheritance.'" (Talmud, Sukkah 52a) This is a Jewish Commentary giving the understanding of the Messiah, the Son of God, and it gives clear reference to how the Jews of that day would of understood what Jesus claimed. Finally when Jesus made statements such as "the Father is greater than all" or "the Father is greater than I",
  these statements do not teach Jesus was not God or less than the Father, but that when He came into this world He took on limitations and set aside His glory, and taught people to follow His example. (John 10:29-34 & John 14:28, Romans 8:1-3, Philippians 2:5-11, 1 Peter 2:21-26, 1 John 1:1-4)

  the prospective that John is giving, is one of all things...meaning man , beast, plants..exc.. "all" ...after looking at 19 differnt versions of the Bible..(NWTS), not being one of them......it is obvious that all things are meaning all things....great and small....everything....not just humanity....now, the human aspect does come in on the 4th verse....which is going to be seprate from the beginning of the book....but when God created us...He created in His image...If you would like a better result for this Q&A..i will be more than happy to have this explained to me by some that would be more equiped..such as my Pastor, we will have to wait untill monday..unless any of you are of sort...cause this is beginning to become incerasingly heavy...peace

  Appears that Jesus is referring to the Holy Spirit. Your question contradicts its self...The Lord is everywhere at once. you left out the last passage..

  Well, Lucifer did descend from the father's kingdom...Lucifer chose to boast about himself and also questioned the Father. Lucifer , being the angel of music...was cast down into the World. Thus, giving man sin and temptation...Personally, it sounds like you have watched Constantine way to much...a good movie. old actor...anyways....It appears that you already know the truth about the teachings..It is up to the individual to accept his or her own actions and beliefs.. ..but, the truth that Satan drives is nothing more than a fabrication...at times i have fallen from grace in my life, but as you know the human race is far from perfection...as far as judgement...we are not qualified....who is qualified to give God counsel or advise.....Satan rules the Worldly...but not the humble....it's all about quality and not quantity...

  Thank you for your generous welcome into the forum. After reading over most of the replies. I was better able to research this. This topic came up last week at Church. It had me just wanting to find out why the passage John 1:1 has been changed or altered. With myself the NWT really does bother me in any way. With no intention on starting a pea pea contest , I am better able to look into why this is. I am very mindful of all of your responses. I hope to pick your brains some more. I do not have Internet at the house , nor do i really want it. So i do my surfing from work. you folks take care.....and will be defiantly posting and replying..... "to the world you may be one person , but to one person you maybe the world." **please disregard any misspelling...i am mostly jacked up on coffee and multi -tasking is task within its self..... lol **

  Good day,

  "Whats goin on" is the trem most widely used around here in tech support land...

  but any ways, i was getting gas a local station...a nicely dressed lady approached me from a van with out of state plates...when she was walking up to me...i knew what she was doing.and what was going to happen...so i played along.....not knowing that she was a JW....she gave me a booklet and stated for me to pick up the Bible...i guess i looked alittle rough and all...long hair and not shaven.....just sitting there wating for my gas to be finished....i smiled and said, "Yes mam, i'm a Christian." she gave me this not so pleasant look and walked off...leaving me in a daze..like i ruined her day...so later on that day i started reading into the handouts...and noticed mostly Old Test. stuff.......then in small letter it showed it was from JW....then it all made sense....wow.....
